Our public-event adventures are designed to last approximately 15 minutes, making them easy to enjoy while visiting a festival, brewery or pop-up market. We have longer experiences available for private events. Contact us to customize your event.

The Gilded Lantern is a story-driven escape adventure inside a themed mobile trailer. Your group will uncover clues, solve hands-on puzzles and try to find the way out before time runs out.

Your group enters The Gilded Lantern, receives a mission and works through a series of clues and puzzles. Everyone plays a part because no one can solve the adventure alone.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?

Up to eight people can enter each public-event session. For larger parties or organizations, we can customize your experience, simply contact us and we can determine a plan that is best for you.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

The Gilded Lantern appears at festivals, breweries, markets, and community events throughout the Sandhills and Triangle regions of North Carolina, including Moore County, Lee County, Montgomery County, and surrounding communities. You may find us in Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, Carthage, Sanford, Cary, Apex, Raleigh, Holly Springs and beyond.

WHAT AGES CAN PLAY THE GILDED LANTERN?

The Gilded Lantern is recommended for ages 13 and older. Younger adventurers may participate with an adult. Because every adventure is built around teamwork, adults can have just as much fun as kids and teens.

Yes. We bring The Gilded Lantern to birthday parties, celebrations, workplaces, schools and other private events. Tell us your date, location and group size, and we'll help you plan the experience.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Accepted Answer

Private events may be rescheduled up to 30 days before the event. Cancellations made within 30 days are non refundable. If The Gilded Lantern must cancel because of sever weather or unsafe conditions, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THE GILDED LANTERN REQUIRE?

The Gilded Lantern requires a flat, accessible area measuring at least 30 feet long by 15 feet wide, with enough clearance for delivery and setup. We'll confirm access, parking and placement with you before your event.
